July in a Nutshell: The Good, The Bad, and Real Life

Hey friends! Wow! I cannot believe July is coming to an end! This month brought a little mix of chaos, late nights, and lots of sunshine 🌞. I wanted to take a few minutes to share some behind the scenes of some highs, lows, and what made me happy. ♥️

✨Good News First

• I finally got the courage to start this blog and my social media journey! I’ve absolutely loved searching for latest trends and putting gift ideas together for friends. The feedback has been nothing short of amazing and has made all of the late nights totally worth it.
• I was accepted into the TikTok Creators Pilot Program after reaching over 1,000 followers! Since starting all of this a few short weeks ago, I’ve made so many new friends and gained a ton of confidence in my posting.
• We took a trip to North Myrtle Beach with some of our best friends- 10/10 recommend traveling with people you consider family. (I do wish I was writing this from the beach, though.)
• I also had my most viewed video on TikTok this month!

😞 Rough Times

• There were definitely moments this month where I found myself thinking, “What am I even doing?” or “Does anyone even care what I have to say?” But despite those doubts, I stuck with it, and I’m really proud of that. This hasn’t been easy, but it’s already been so worth it.
• Our vacation was a blast, but I would be lying if I said it was all laughs and sunshine. By the end of the week, the kids were overtired and there were more tantrums and sibling fights than I could count. Parenting on vacation…is still parenting. 😆
• Back to school. Need I say more?!

💜 Things I Loved This Month

• This dress from Target was hands down my beach favorite this month. Light, breezy, and so easy to throw on and go. It’s definitely one of those “don’t think about it” outfits.
• These sandals from Amazon are my favorite. Super comfy and go with everything from casual to brunch outfits.
• I’m still using my YETI bag nonstop and it’s easily my most complimented item. Road tripping or packing for the pool, it’s always with me. Link to one similar.
• I cannot get “DAISIES” by Justin Bieber out of my head. Every time a video comes on using this sound, I am tuned in!

🔜 Looking Ahead to August

• Back to school. Last weeks blog had some BTS ideas, be sure to check them out.
• Fall decor ideas.
• Currently reaching out to a few favorite brands for some possible PR opportunities! I will DEFINITELY keep you posted on this!

July stretched me in ways I didn’t expect, but it also reminded me how much I love building this little space online. I’m so grateful for everyone that reads, watches, likes or silently cheers me on. Here is to bigger and better things in August, can’t wait to share it all with you! 💛
